Welcome to TERN, a journal of translation and conversation with a focus on international authors.

Set in the Midwest, TERN strives to build connections with writers and artists from all over the world. We publish prose, poetry, conversations, interviews and hybrid forms.

Tern is created by PhD students in the International Writers Track at Washington University in St. Louis.
